Golf Holidays to Portugal

Ever-popular, Portugal is the front runner for short-sleeved golf.

There is an abundance of excellent golf around Vilamoura in the Algarve and of course we feature the best. The courses are all within 20 minutes of our chosen hotels, the weather is great for golf and the frequency of flights makes it easy to get to.

To the west of Lisbon we feature Estoril and Cascais with their highly rated courses and stunning coastline scenery. Estoril is the smaller of the resorts and boasts lovely restaurants serving freshly caught fish, quaint bars and a classic casino. Cascais is a little livelier but still maintains its charm with cobbled streets linked with shops and eateries. The local train connects the two and you can also take this to travel into Lisbon and sample the sights of the capital.

The latest additions to our Portuguese programme are the Costa Azul region, one hour south of Lisbon and the island of Madeira. Sesimbra and Setubal are two of our choice towns on the Costa Azul from where you can explore the beautiful natural parks and play the stunning course at Troia.

There are many direct flights to Madeira and with two of Europe's finest courses, traditional 'Lavadas' walks, Madeira wine and quaint villages, this is a delightful island to visit. A wealth of choice awaits you.
