The bedrooms and suites are located in the main ‘citadel’ and in the adjacent villas. Most have prime views over the Atlantic Ocean, golf course and gardens. The citadel combines ethnic and Moorish architecture and houses most of the bedrooms together with several restaurants, bars, a wellness and spa centre, shops and swimming pools. The 300 bedrooms/suites in the citadel, feature a private terrace or balcony, king or twin beds and generously-sized marble bathrooms with separate deep-soaking tubs. Within the more private and secluded area of the resort there are four rows of villas with one swimming pool per row. As well as its own golf course, ABAMA has its own beach and beach club. The cove, with its golden sands surrounded by dramatic cliffs and the crystalline waters of the Atlantic Ocean, can be reached via cable car, or golf buggy.
