Abbaye de la Celle ****
Art de Vivre
Suggested Itinerary price from £630
- Owned by Alain Ducasse
- Organic vegetable garden and vineyard
- Unique and relaxing ambience

On the site of a Benedictine abbey, this beautiful little hotel boasts just 10 bedrooms each named after one of the species growing in the garden or the famous clients.
The bedrooms are tasteful, large and very comfortable but perhaps the most attractive "Unique Selling Point" of Abbaye de la Celle is that it's owned by Alain Ducasse - France's iconic chef and the man with more Michelin stars than anyone else in history. The kitchen brigade is made up entirely of his former students. Every day they prepare menus offering simple cooking based on classic recipes using local market produce and the hotel's own garden. And between lunch and dinner, you can bask around the heated swimming pool, walk among the vineyards or go for a picnic with a hamper of delicious goodies prepared by the hotel chefs. And for golf…Barbaroux, Sainte Baume and Fregate all within very easy reach. It's never been so easy for gourmet golfers!
