In fact, we think Chantilly is one of the best regions for golf in Europe. Further south and just three hours from Calais you’ll find Fontainebleau: chic, historic and surrounded by picturesque villages. The region, amid France’s largest forest, is also idyllic for golf, including the amazing Fontainebleau. Versailles - home to the grandest chateau in the world and an easy drive from the centre of Paris, Versailles combines smart living with beautiful countryside (and courses) nearby.
