With probably the most typical Brittany site of all the courses, Baden provides a fine game of golf in memorable surroundings. The heartening fairways (unless the greenkeeper has let the rough grow) and large greens will lower your score and the views over the Morbihan coastline will raise your spirits. The course is well maintained and there are several good holes – particularly around the turn. Fine clubhouse. Quite easy walking. Eight miles east of Auray and 22 miles east of Lorient.
