The Old Course is a challenging and beautiful golf course designed in 1926 by JF Abercromby. Laid out along similar lines to Gleneagles and Turnberry, its quality is apparent from afar and it’s a must-play for serious golfers. Many of the fairways are tree-lined, the greens are quite small and the Rivers Bovey and Bowden weave in and out…It takes a class player to score well here but it’s a pleasure to play however you play.
