Created out of a 17th-century park, the wide fairways and fast greens are presented to a very high standard.   Don't be put off by the tough, uphill first hole...several of the holes are more sweet than tough and it’s a “holiday golf” layout with quite a few first-rate holes – particularly around the turn.
