Set back from an upmarket residential area, you enter into “Provence” as soon as you drive down the oak-lined driveway. This is a very pretty hotel laid out between the 17th-Century main manor and its old farm building annexes. With much refurbishment over the last couple of years, the 35 bedrooms are smart but not overly large, the lounges are very comfortable and the décor sets the tone for a friendly and relaxed holiday. The restaurant has the bonus of a large terrace overlooking the course.
