Trent Jones Jnr and Kyle Phillips (of Kingsbarns and The Grove fame) built an exciting and modern golf course with enticing fairways, big greens and water hazards with suitably changing levels of difficulty off each tee. Not only is the course challenging but the rolling landscape and ancient trees don’t help the concentration (or the scorecard!). An impressive hill-top clubhouse and annexe provide a low-key but friendly set-up with great-value golfers’ fare to be had. A real favourite. Flat except for four steep climbs (electric trollies available). 2 miles north-west of Meulan and 15 miles north-west of Versailles.
