One of our favourites, Corrençon lies 1200ft up in the Vercors Massif and on the edge of the largest nature reserve in Europe. Mountain scenery does not come more spectacular.

As a course, Corrençon isn't particularly testing but it is undeniably beautiful. What's more, it lets you have a go with your driver. Basically, the course is carved through an enchanting forest and boasts wide fairways leading towards quite well-protected but receptive greens. Relatively flat considering its location, Corrençon is memorable holiday golf. Simple clubhouse which adds to the charm. 20 miles south-west of Grenoble.
