Carved out of virgin jungle, the Datai is a joy to play. The variety of tricky uphill and downhill lies keeps you on your toes as do the water hazards and bunkers. The fairways are fairly narrow so unless your driver behaves use your irons or you may be trekking into the jungle more than you imagined. If you happen to have any balls left at the end of your round you can have a go at the 19th hole, straight into the Andaman Sea.
