Hanbury Course, Hanbury Manor, Ware

Par 72, 7052 Yards, Slope
- Previous English Open venue
- Picturesque parkland course
- Always in excellent condition

A three-time venue for the English Open, the course was first built by Harry Vardon around the family home in 1890. Nearly 100 years later, Jack Nicklaus II updated the design to provide a highly enjoyable game of golf. With cleverly- sited (and rather large) trees and a variety of water hazards, it offers a true challenge to anyone who enjoys their golf. One of our favourite holes is the 13th – a dog-leg par four requiring a good drive to the corner and a mid/long iron in to the two-tiered green…Club selection is vital throughout the hole.
