Big in every sense of the word, this is a very fine hotel and rated the best in La Baule.

On the splendid beach at the smartest end of the resort, there are 210 superb bedrooms. The hotel offers lots to do: the heated outdoor seawater pool is perfect for those not hardy enough for the real thing and there’s an indoor pool and gym for those rare days when the sun isn’t shining. The heart of the resort and the fabulous tennis and equestrian centres are just a short walk away. Eating in is a treat at the beach restaurant or more formal La Terrasse and the bar is great fun. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and there is a very easy-going atmosphere. A first-class experience.
