The ambience is first-class and you’ve got the choice of the ramparts and gardens on one side and the market square and massive choice of eateries on the other. There are 24 bedrooms and all are comfortable and stylish. Our prices are based on the rooms overlooking the town square. Garden view rooms cost a little more. The staff are as helpful as can be and the summer terrace is perfect for afternoon tea and catching up with a good book. For the evening, the cosy bar is a great place to “warm up”. A long-term favourite.
