This is a delightful “low-key” club tucked away in the countryside near Rennes.

Short but with a sting in the tail of many holes, Freslonniere is a visual treat and will test the mettle of even the finest drivers. In fact, the forest and flowers are so close on some holes, it’s best to take a mid-iron and pray! Popular at weekends, try to play midweek or join in the weekend competitions where you are made to feel very welcome. Family-owned, this is one of our favourites and is worth the drive even if you’re staying in Dinard - particularly if you make time to visit old Rennes afterwards. Easy walking. Five miles west of Rennes and 30 miles south of Dinan.
