Les Vignes is the second Medoc course and some people rate it as even better than Les Chateaux

– particularly the back nine where tall skinny pine trees frame verdant fairways and smallish greens. Opening up with relatively open parkland holes, Les Vignes gets prettier and tougher as the round progresses. With great investment in maintenance and a classy clubhouse, this club easily justifies its ranking among the very best in France. Both courses have huge wine bottles as 150-yard markers with each marker named after the best Medoc vineyards. The wines are readily available in the clubhouse. Easy walking. Nine miles north-west of Bordeaux centre.
