This is without doubt one of the best European courses you’ll ever play. Jack Nicklaus’ first of two courses opened in June 2007 and is already a firm favourite with those in the know. The course is set in the picturesque foothills of the Eastern Algarve, with sweeping views of the mountains to the north and Atlantic to the south. Each hole presents a different challenge with immaculate fairways and bunkers and treacherous greens. A second course and luxury hotel is in the planning stages.
