Nantes Vigneux will delight and surprise you – unless you’ve played other courses designed by Frank Pennink (the original Vilamoura is arguably his best-known course).
Ideal for a morning game, a spot of lunch at the welcoming clubhouse and then off to see the sights of the medieval city some 10 miles distant, Nantes is a hidden gem: super fairways meander through tight majestic woodland and around the River Cens and the greens can be small and the undulations do make your pitches and chip-shots even more critical - a quality challenge! However, look at how to play the hole before your tee-shot and you should score reasonably. Fairly easy walking. Eight miles north-west of Nantes.
