Cut through a pine forest, every hole presents a different test but all are beautiful and well-maintained. Several of the holes examine both your swing and your golfing brain. The breezes from the nearby Atlantic can add to the fun. Other holes provide plenty of big-hitting opportunities and ego-boosting (or bashing!) approaches over water. Royan is very enjoyable and well worth playing wherever you are staying and you should leave enough time to walk along the famous dunes or resort esplanade. Hilly in parts.
