- Very warm welcome
- Good clubhouse
- Appealing and uncomplicated design

Opened in 1953, this is a short and sweet course near the historic town of Saintes.
Quite tight, so an “iron for safety” off the tee is occasionally recommended, but the course never challenges too much and well-placed tee-shots set you up nicely for tempting approaches. More difficult than the length suggests, but you should still play to your handicap. The clubhouse is comfy and has a fine restaurant. Two miles north of Saintes.
