South-Africa - The rainbow nation

The Western Cape is the ideal place to begin your holiday. Some of Cape Town’s more famous landmarks include Table Mountain where you can toast the sunset, Robben Island, Cape Point, Chapmans Peak and, of course, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Out of the city lies the Winelands. Here, the superb quality of the world-renowned wines is matched by the gastronomic cooking at many of the guesthouses. An idyllic base is Franschhoek where the elephants used to roam and now a perfect base for meandering wine lovers.

Days 1-4 Arrival Cape Town
W we will ‘Meet and Greet’ you and transfer you by private car to your chosen hotel or guesthouse in Cape Town. Your car hire can be delivered the following day so as to allow you to relax. We recommend at least four nights to take in the sights and play a round of golf at one of the many excellent Cape courses.

Days 5-6 Wineland region
A one hour drive from Cape Town brings you to the Winelands region. A couple of days sampling fantastic local dishes, washed down by a glass or two of the estate wines and a gentle round of golf is just the ticket.

Days 10-12 Garden Route
A short distance away and you will arrive at the start of the Garden Route. A three-night stay in a luxury guesthouse is just right to take in the superb coastal scenery and varied landscapes. We recommend playing one of the fabulous courses while here. 30 minutes from Fancourt.
