The Kintyre course presents links golf of the highest order. Undulating greens, glorious (and quite generous) fairways, magnificent ocean-side holes and priceless views of Kintyre, Arran, and the famous Turnberry Lighthouse.
The Kintyre's signature hole, the 8th, involves a drive from an elevated tee towards the sea and an unforgettable blind second shot to the green by the rocks. There are plenty of “do or die” challenges and the greens don’t let you get away with anything. Slightly easier than the Ailsa course, the Kintyre is a great sister course and ideal for warming-up before taking on the biggie!
